our founder's journey

Greetings, I am R Pasukkanna, the heart and soul behind Kanna Foundation. My journey to founding this organization is a testament to the power of ancient wisdom and the transformative impact it can have on modern lives.

From a young age, I was fascinated by the rich heritage of Tamil Nadu, particularly the art of Varma and the science of Mudras. Varma, a traditional martial art technique, is not just about self-defence; it's a deep exploration of the human body's potential. Similarly, Mudras, simple hand gestures, hold the key to unlocking our body's healing capabilities.

The turning point came when I witnessed firsthand the positive effects of these practices on people's health and well-being. It was a revelation that these ancient techniques could offer simple yet effective solutions to many modern-day ailments.

Driven by a desire to share this knowledge with the world, I founded Kanna Foundation. Our mission is simple: to make Mudras and Vagary (a 30-minute exercise based on Varma) accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or location. We believe that these practices can not only cure diseases but also prevent them, leading to a healthier and happier life.

The journey has been both challenging and rewarding. From conducting awareness classes in schools and villages to organizing free sessions with volunteers, we've been tirelessly working to spread the word. The positive feedback and success stories from our participants keep us motivated and affirm our belief in the power of Mudra Science and Varma.

As we continue on this path, I invite you to join us in embracing the ancient secrets for a better tomorrow. Together, let's unlock the potential within us and lead a life of health, harmony, and happiness.

With warmth and blessings,

R Pasukkanna
